I am excited to welcome you to the 2014-15 school year. The School District of Crandon has established district goals that we are striving to reach for the year. Each school has also established goals which are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. At school, these are referred to as S.M.A.R.T. goals.
The district goals are:
Working to create a culture of collaboration demonstrated by increased student and teacher engagement, parent involvement and community awareness by June 2015 as measured by staff, student and community surveys with a 75% positive response rate.
Develop a system of instruction in which each student achieves one year’s growth in one year’s time in reading and math by June 2015 by utilizing various assessment tools measuring local district data.
Strategically and efficiently utilize district resources (human, financial, and capital) to provide a highly effective school environment that supports our mission as measured by recognition of our district efforts.
